Get To Know Kevin

Kevin Hagstrom has spent his entire 21-year tax and accounting career at Flagel Huber Flagel. Starting as a summer intern in 1999, Kevin officially joined the team in 2000 as a Staff Accountant after graduating from Wright State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business degree and a Master of Accountancy degree. Through his career, Kevin has worked his way up to being a Partner at the firm. Kevin enjoys being a trusted advisor to his clients, helping Family & Closely Held Businesses and Nonprofit organizations with a variety of tax and assurance services. “It is rewarding, in many ways, to work alongside my clients. Whether the work is performing an audit, preparing tax returns or some other unique project, I find satisfaction in knowing I can use my knowledge and skills in their businesses or personal endeavors.”

During his tenure as a Staff Accountant and Manager, he witnessed FHF’s commitment to their employees’ development. He valued the time the Partners invested in his growth, both personally and professionally. Even during busy season, partners were never too busy to give thoughtful advice or ask how life was going. Now that Kevin is a partner, his goal is to provide the same type of mentoring and coaching he received. 

Outside of serving his clients, Kevin is a member of the Kettering Centerville Kiwanis Club, a service organization that is focused on serving children in different ways and is a volunteer at his church. Kevin also enjoys staying active by following and coaching his children’s sports and golfing at his favorite golf courses.
