Get To Know Joshua

Joshua (“Josh”) graduated with honors with an undergraduate degree in Finance from Ball State University. While attending Ball State University, Josh was inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma international business honor society as well as the Omicron Delta Kappa leadership honor society. Josh spent the first 6 years of his public accounting career working for local and regional CPA firms gaining knowledge and experience in a multitude of areas within the CPA profession. Josh then moved on to join a boutique appraisal firm located in central Indiana where he managed the business valuation division prior to accepting a role as the Senior Manager of M&A at a large privately owned company with private equity backing. Josh received his CPA certification in July 2016 and his CVA designation in 2017. Joshua works in the areas of business valuation, exit and succession planning, transaction advisory services, and litigation support.

Joshua loves making an impact on his clients and helping them to accomplish their goals. With regard to joining FHF, he says, “I look forward to joining the stellar team at FHF and helping to bring value to their clients in the areas of valuation, succession planning, and M&A. Combined with all the other services offered by the firm, I believe that existing and future clients will have all of their accounting and advisory needs met with professionalism and passion.”

When Josh isn’t busy helping his clients, he serves as a member of the Indiana CPA Society, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and National Association of Business Valuators and Analysts. In 2017, Josh was a recipient of the Emerging Leader Award granted by the Indiana CPA Society.

During his time off, Josh enjoys spending time with his wife (Karen) and their two sons (Joshua “JJ” Jr. and Cameron). Josh is an avid clay target shooter and competitor and enjoys other outdoor activities like fishing and riding ATVs.
