Brett Vandeman has been with FHF for over ten years. He holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Accountancy, both from Wright State University and served as an adjunct professor of accountancy at University of Dayton until just recently. But this depth of technical knowledge does not mean Brett takes an academic approach to helping his clients. Brett applies his keen business acumen and client-centric mentality to each and every client’s situation, helping them navigate their ship as if it were his own. David Fisher, co-owner of ThreeWitt Enterprises describes how Brett helped them during the COVID-19 economic crisis: “Brett and I started talking right away about capital planning, cash flow planning, and PPP. We were trying to find the ‘ThreeWitt Way’ to use the PPP by making principle- based decisions and putting people first. Brett and FHF helped so much.”
While Brett helps businesses across a wide variety of industries, Brett leads FHF’s team dedicated to the specific needs of those in Manufacturing, Distribution, Wholesale, and Construction. He also has depth of expertise in Employee Benefit Plan Audits.
“I support and identify with the company’s mission, and their values are my values. I enjoy helping individuals and businesses achieve success.”
Brett is married and has two kids. He enjoys watching his kids play sports, watching as much football and baseball as possible, and playing golf when his busy schedule allows. Brett is excited that his son shares his love for the game as well.
