What are the main day-to-day responsibilities involved in this internship? What kind of jobs/projects are you working on? For the first few weeks of the internship, I helped a lot with auditing a big client. I did an audit, review, and two compilations. Right now, I am doing a lot of tax returns.
What do you enjoy most about working at Flagel Huber Flagel? I enjoy talking to everyone on the Flagel Huber Flagel team. Everyone has been so helpful and nice to talk to throughout the day.
What do you think are some essential qualities to have to be a successful intern? Being able to step out of your comfort zone and not be afraid to ask a lot of questions. I also think being organized and detail oriented in this field of work is important.
What is your personal/family life like? I have two older brothers who work in accounting. I can finally speak some of their accounting lingo. My family loves the Bengals and the new show The Last of Us. We are all obsessed with our three golden retrievers as well.
What are your interests, hobbies, and/or how do you like to spend your time? In my spare time I like to read as much as I can. I like romance, dystopian, and murder mystery. When the weather is nice, I like to go hiking with friends. This past summer we went to Red River Gorge, and it was beautiful. I plan on visiting national parks in the future.
