We’d like to introduce you to Katie Pavy, CPA and Manager. Katie has been with the FHF team for ten years already and we love having her on the team! Read on to learn more about Katie Pavy!
Katie Pavy, CPA
Education: Wright State University, Bachelor of Science in Business for Accounting and Finance, Master of Accounting.
Family: Katie is married with a 3 ½-year-old daughter. They also have two dogs and several cats, as well as a few fish. Her husband is working full time as a PCT at Miami Valley Hospital while attending WSU’s accelerated BSN program. They are excited for him to graduate this coming May!
Favorite part about working at Flagel Huber Flagel: Katie loves that her co-workers are fun and interesting people. She also really enjoys working with all her Not-for-Profit clients and seeing how much of a difference they make in our community.
Favorite way to spend your time: In the little bit of free time that Katie has, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and trying all the great food and craft beers that Dayton has to offer. She is also an avid reader and always has a book, preferably one of a series, in hand.
Favorite TV shows: Doctor Who, Northern Exposure, Friends, and Stranger Things.
Favorite movie: Across the Universe.
Fun fact: Katie homebrews (though hasn’t much since her daughter was born/husband started school)! Her husband brews his own kombucha, and they make their own yogurt. In addition to homebrewing, they have rehabilitated and released orphaned wildlife through a sub-licensee program, and plan to do so again once their daughter is a little older and life settles down a bit.
